CC Sunchild is an American composer, producer, pianist, vocalist, and sound artist whose work bridges performance, composition, and the healing arts. A graduate of Spelman College, Berklee College of Music, and Georgia State University with a degree in Music Composition, she draws on jazz, classical, gospel, folk, soul/R&B, and world music to create soundscapes that are as technically sophisticated as they are emotionally resonant.

Her artistry has led to collaborations with icons including Patti LaBelle, Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, India Arie, Bobby McFerrin, Lil Durk, Ruben Studdard, Raphael Saadiq, and Caron Wheeler. Internationally, she has held an artist residency at the Crowne Plaza in Suzhou, China, and studied Gamelan with Nyoman Warsa in Bali, Indonesia. Her work extends into film and television, with appearances in Madea’s Witness Protection, The Detour, Hap & Leonard, Holidate, Star, and The Hate U Give, and as pianist and piano hand double for the Twentieth Century Fox docuseries Genius: Aretha, starring Cynthia Erivo.

As a sound healer and therapeutic arts practitioner, she works with the rare elements of Silence and Presence alongside music to create immersive experiences that foster restoration, clarity, and emotional well-being in both individual and group settings. Her debut album Air showcases her range as a producer, composer, and arranger, blending intricate musicality with spacious, immersive textures. Whether performing, producing, or creating transformative listening environments, CC Sunchild brings a rare combination of technical mastery, creative vision, and cross-cultural fluency to every project she undertakes.
